Astec Lifesciences L posts Q4 net loss of Rs 0.99 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 0.99 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 5.00 crore in the previous year quarter.
Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 21.09 per cent at Rs 153.75 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 126.97 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 16.02 per cent to Rs 141.04 crore from Rs 121.57 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 21.01 per cent at Rs 2.03 crore versus (Mar'23 Rs 2.57 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 135.37 per cent to Rs 12.71 crore as against Rs 5.40 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 94.13 per cent in March quarter.
Interest grew by 4.21 per cent y-o-y to Rs 6.68 crore, while Taxation increased by 102.46 per cent at Rs 0.03 crore (Mar'23 Rs -1.22 crore).
